Bluebells
I don't have swathes, or glades, or dells filled with bluebells. I'm not even sure if mine are English. But blue is my favourite colour, and I have a couple of bluebell patches alongside paths in my garden.

I've planted them in woodland areas, where they survive - but I'm not sure they thrive. The bulbs are terribly slow to multiply.
Not Wet Enough?
Spring is sometimes not the wettest of seasons, so there's bound to be a difference between the misty English spring gardens and my hot-and-slightly-bothered New Zealand one.
