President Roosevelt Rhododendrons
One side of the Island Bed faces the Driveway Lawn, and I've planted two President Roosevelt rhododendrons here, just above an existing Daphne shrub. What a pretty combination!

One of the rhododendrons tends to lose its variegation, but I haven't bothered to prune the plain green branches off. The deep pink and white flowers look absolutely gorgeous en masse, and contrast so well with the pale and fluffy cherry blossom overhead.
